Is It Safe To Take Taxim-o And Alkasol Syrup During Pregnancy?
Hi... I am 7 month pregnant and my gynae advised me to take taximo 200 for 7 days along with this she asked me to take one syrup alkasol also for curing Urine infection.. she asked me for urine culture few months back also and result came negative...but infection still persist in urine routine test so she asked me to take the above said medicines and after that have to go under urine routine test again for review... so is it safe to take the abive said antibiotics plz advice me.. Yes it is safe for you to take TAXIM O as you are in 7 months of pregnancy.
Ideally you should have gone for urine culture and then take the antibiotics according to the culture report,however go ahead with the advice of your treating do or as she knows the best about you.
Drink plenty of water and carry on with ALKASOL as it is an alkaliser and helps in urinary infections.
