You absolutely should go to the hospital to be evaluated. Sudden swelling of your thyroid gland can indicate thyroid storm, which is a condition that can even cause death, and the swelling in your neck can obstruct your breathing. If you are treated and released from the hospital, you absolutely should take your Synthroid as recommended by your doctor. Please seek medical care as soon as possible, and good luck with your condition and your pregnancy!
