Is It Safe To Take Mifeprin Before DNC?
Hi, I am 11 weeks pregnant. My doctor has advised DNC tomorrow because we don't want the baby now since my first child is just 1 year old. She has given Mifeprin Kit and asked me to take one medicine today after meal and other two tablets before meal tomorrow morning and come for DNC. Is this the right way for DNC? and please explain is there any side affects?

Hi,
You need the Mifeprin kit if you are having a surgical termination. You just need to take misoprostol(which is part of the kit) 2 tabs vaginally at night or early morning depending when you are scheduled to do the surgery. Miferpin kit is used for medical abortion of less than 9 weeks.
