Is It Safe To Take High Dosage Of Thyronorm During Pregnancy?

hello , i am pregnant and am on my 4th month now, during my 3rd month i am identified by pregnancy thyroid nearly 8.9 so my DGO advised me to take thyronorm 12.5 mcg since then i took the tablets for 1 month and when i checked my thyroid yesterday its increased 1 point that is 9 now.. Request to please advise me becoz am scared it mite affect baby s brain development or internal health....and is it advisable to take high dosage

Thyronorm contains levothyroxine. Levothyroxine falls under category A. Which means its safe to take in pregnancy with no evidence of fetal risk. So continue the drug and you have nothing to worry about the side affects upon fetus.
