Is It Safe To Take Clindamycin Along With Bactrim And Steroid?
Hi, I was perscribed bactrim along with a steroid and a inhaler for a lung infection and than went in for oral surgery and was perscibed clindamycin for a infection at the extraction site. Can I take both of these antibiotics at once or should I wait and if so how long??

you can take both because there is no documented serious interaction between them. Clindamycin provides coverage for the anaerobes. Bactrim covers various Gram positive and negative organisms but there is no coverage for the anaerobes. The anaerobes are abundant in the mouth.
