Is It Safe To Take A Long Plane Trip After A Mini Stroke?

My friend 70 ,had a diagnosis of a mini stroke after disturbance in both eyes , bright circle of lights , was in ERIC had pet and MRI and was discharged in less then 24h with increased aspirin recommendation and tofollow up with a doctor. He plans to take long plane trip in 48 h after the episode, is that ok

There might not be any problem in the flight but it would definitely be safer to avoid any flights for the next two weeks. If he decides to take the flight then he should walk within the flight to avoid Deep Vein thrombosis and take all medications with him. Try and convince him to avoid the travel for a few weeks. Take care.
