Is It Safe To Take Zitotec 200 For Abortion?

CASE : LMP date : 18.04.2014, UPT- (-) ve on 30.04.2014 & UPT-(+) on 17.05.2014 Taken Tab Mefegest 200mg on 20.05.2014 at 10.00M after that on 21.05.2014 minor bleeding started at 9.00AM then after plan to take Zitotec 200 verginally at interval of following: (1)9.00AM -2 tab, (2)1.00PM -1 tab (1)4.00PM -1 tab Please advice whether this will be enough for safe abortaion. What is cross check.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Abortion pill use is safe if it is done under supervision and guidance of gynecologist. Self-use at home causes serious complication and high risk of failure that lead to abnormal development of pregnancy. Ideally, mifepristone should be followed by misoprostol 400 ug vaginally by gynecologist after 48 hours. If required another 400 ug after 4 hours, that will be decided by gynecologist.
As you took 3 tablets already, take one more tablet after 2 to 3 hours under observation of gynecologist. Generally, bleeding will start 30 to 450 minutes after last pill and whole abortion process will stop in next 4 to 5 days.
Passing of blood with tissue and blood clots more than period, suggest abortion.
You can check successful abortion by USG at 14th day and by pregnancy test at home at 10th day.
