As per your complain
Tylenol contains
ACETAMINOPHEN which has a mild painkilling and anti-inflammatory and fever reducing properties and
codeine is an OPIATE which is used t relieve pain and a combination of both is commonly given in tooth pain..
There is a threshold quantity required of each drug by the body as per the age of the patient and the severity of the disease and in case if you take a lesser dose as compared to requirement the results will be compromised..
Therefore I would suggest you to take the dosage of the medicines as prescribed to you by your
dentist for getting relief from pain..
Another thing which I would like to tell you that only painkillers are not enough in case of
dental abscess as painkiller can only relieve pain while you need to take antibiotics to reduce infection and abscess..
