Detailed:

Hello,

Thanks for Writing to Health Care Magic and putting trust in us regarding your Health related query.
I am Dr. Saleha and I have read your message in detail, I understand your concern and will try to help you in this.

You are taking triple therapy for H.pylori. It is natural to lose appetite when one has got stomach infection and is taking medicines in such heavy antibiotic dose.
Triple therapy is given for 7-14 days depending upon clinician's experience , titres of Hpylori anti bodies and expected response of the patient. There are good enough chances of eradicating the bug within 7-8 days , your doctor might test for Hpylori after that and might decide to continue or discontinue the therapy after that.

Yes your appetite is expected to return as you stomach gets rid of the infection and things get better for you, I would suggest you to keep eating nutritious and easy to digest food so that you don't suffer any under nutrition during this time of recovering from the infection. You can also use some good multivitamin to replenish your minerals and vitamins. You shouldn't panic this is a common problem and it can be treated quite easily with the medications you are using, you just have to stay regular with you medication routine and follow up.
I hope this answers your question. If you have more questions, I am happy to answer.
Wish you lasting health.

Regards.

Dr.Saleha Saeed.
