Is It Safe To Take Clarimythocin For Bronchitis?

hi- I am taking clarimythocin because of bronchitis and yesterday I started having major discomfort in my vaginal area i couldnt sit comfortably and then came the burning when i urinate. It isill very painful and it comes- and goes,but VERY painful . Is this a side affect of the med?

Hello

Pain during urination is most likely not related to clarithromycin side effect.
Pain may be due to urinary tract infection(UTI).
Besides clinical evaluation,you may may need routine hemogram,random blood sugar,urine RE/ME and culture/sensitivity.
You may need to take specific antibiotics depending upon culture and sensitivity report.
You can continue antibiotics for bronchitis.
You may also need antispasmodic drugs.
