Is It Safe To Take Carbimazole 5mg For Hyperthyroid, With Tramadol As Pain Reliever ?
Is it safe to take Carbimazole 5mg for hyperthyroid, with Tramadol 100mg to relieve the pain of BMS? My wife s doctor gave her a prescription for both yesterday and today she is extremely nauseous and feeling awful, after only two doses of one pill of each last night and then again this morning.

Hello, Welcome to HCM The symptoms of nausea your wife is experiencing is because of tramadol,which is an opioid. It is known to cause nausea,vomiting,dizziness as side effects. As such there is no drug interaction between Carbimazole and tramadol. I would advice you to take an antiemetic before taking tramadol that will relieve her symptoms.
