Is It Safe To Take B12 And Folic Acid Tablets During Pregnancy?

Hi, are b12 and folic acid supplements safe to take during pregnancy? I am currently 24weeks pregnant and since being pregnant have not been getting any sleep due to extremely hot soles and palms. This happened throughout my first pregnancy also and went away immediately after giving birth. Thanks for your time.
