Hello, I can t advise you about switching to glycomet, because although you could, I can t judge whether it is necessary or not. If for example you ve got a very low glucosylated hemoglobin and blood glucose then there is no reason to do so and you might experience hypoglycemia too! If your glucose control is not very close to adequate then adding a second drug (using glycomet instead of metformin alone) might help. The glucosylated hemoglobin is a very good way to judge that. Sometimes more than one drug might be needed for good glucose control. Regarding the black seed: do not rely too much on the black seed because it won t help you. Stick to a healthy diet plan and physical activity program, take your drugs as instructed and your blood sugar control will improve!
