Is It Safe To Mix Diclofenac And Methocarbamol For Relieving Periodic Episodes Of Back And Pelvic Girdle Inflammation?

I have periodic episodes of lower back and pelvic girdle inflammation due to previous job related traumas.
I have used both voltaren/methocarbamol as well as diclofenac.
Is it safe to mix dosages of 50mg diclofenac with 400mg methocarbamol for short period to relieve inflammation and pain?

Hello,

I have studied your case.

Yes you can mix them.

Another differential for pelvic pain can be osteomalacia
I will advise to do x ray pelvis AP view and blood investigation for vit D level and serum calcium level.

Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
Core stabilizing spine exercises will help.
For osteomalacia you need calcium and vitamin D supplement with bed rest.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care
