Is It Safe To Have Sex With The Mucus Plug?
( Im 38 weeks and 6 days ) I woke up to this clear white sticky streachy thing coming out of my vagina was that my mucus plug or part of it? Also is it safe if I have sex IF it was my mucus plug that is comin out cause me and my partner both have herpes?

You might see more vaginal discharge during the third trimester. If the flow is heavy enough to soak through your panty liners, call your doctor.
In third trimester their might be a thick, clear, or slightly blood-tinged or white discharge. This is your mucus plug, and it's a sign that your cervix has begun dilating in preparation for labor. If you experience a sudden rush of fluid, it may mean that your water has broken. Consult your doctor as soon as possible after your water breaks.
Sex in third trimester of pregnancy:
sex may not be safe during the third trimester in certain circumstances, including these:
1.If Your placenta covers all or part of your cervix (placenta previa).
2.You have vaginal bleeding.
3.Your water has broken
4. In cervical insufficiency.
Its better if you dont have sex in this last trimester, if you wish to have please ask your doctor, as he is the best person who knows your condition and can suggest you what is good.
