Is It Safe To Go For A Hysterectomy Over Ablation?

I am about 2 weeks away from a revagination including a sling and hysterctomy. I have the beginning signs of prolapse and so with all these other things needing to be done my doctor suggested a hysterctomy over ablation. After chatting with a friend and then reading some of the forums on this site I am getting cold feet. This seems awful and like I won t feel normal again. I am a busy mom and run my own business. I don t have time to not feel normal. Do you have any thoughts or advice?

hi healthcare magic user, whether to go for hysterectomy or sling surgery is to be decide? correct?
As per my knowledge ablation is needed for heavy bleeding.
I will need detail clinical history before taking call.
If you are 40plus and completed family and 3rd degree prolapse you can think for hysterectomy. if prolapse is 1st degree then go for pelvic floor exercises.
if you have prolapse with, heavy bleeding during periods with completed family go for hysterectomy .
I find this answer helpful
