Is it safe to give ragi and orange juice for a 5 month old baby?

Hi My baby is 5 months old now . Born 32 weeks. I Would like to know if raggi and orange fresh juice is good to give at this time. he was 6 kg the time i started. Now since last 3 days he was passing stool quite often. with so much of pain and pushing. He was given S-26 Gold and breast milk since last 5months. Till now there was no problem with the formula milk and i dont think even now

Thanks for your query.
Complementary feeding should be started after 6 months of age.
Initially start with boiled rice water,boiled pulses water,coconut water .
One thing to be introduced at a time in small quantities.
semisolids are to be introduced later.

Since now she is passing loose stools,give oral rehydration solution sip by sip after each loose stool,
Give probiotic like lactobaccilus for 2 to 3 days.

Solid foods are not recommended before 6 months of age.
Ragi is difficult to digest.
Try rice and dal. Give plenty of fluids.
