Is It Safe To Give Dimenhydranate After A Massive Stomach Flu Treated With Zofran ?
My daughter has a MASSSIVE stomach flu. The doc gave her Zofran. I was hoping for PHenergan so she would be able to sleep soundly since she's been in bed for 3 days. i know she has to be restless and all she wishes is to sleep this off. She hasn't vomitted today and has kept down soup and jello. Would it be a bad idea to give her Dimenhydranate? I thought this would help her get some rest. But, I didn't wanna take this apron myself to do so and then something happen to her! Id never forgive myself!!!!!! Please help. The doc said this could last up to 72 hrs and she is absolutely PITIFUL. I just want her to be able to sleep it off as much as possible. Please respond......
HI Thank for asking to HCM I can understand your concern there is no concrete reason, why to give her any medicine, she will get alright without this, and for that wait for few days, nothing to worry about this, medicine could bring something else, stop worrying she will be fine soon no need to give any medicine, take a good care of your daughter have nice day.
