Is It Safe To Drink Ragi Malt While TSH Level Is 7.1?
hi, I am a 50 yrs old woman since 1 year..I am taking medicines for fits since 8 yrs. I also have external haemorrhoids. last week I came to know that I have TSH level as 7.1. my weight is 90kg. Can you please tell whether I can have ragi malt daily. Thank you sir.

A TSH level of 7.1 is low and it indicates hyperthyroidism.
Increase in thyroid hormones - T3 and T4 lead to low level of TSH.
You need to consult your physician to find the cause of hyperthyroidism and plan treatment of hyperthyroidism.
Ragi malt will neither affect the hormone status nor it will have any deleterious effect.
Thus, you can take ragi malt or any other food item without worrying.
