Is It Safe To Be Sexually Active While Having UTI?
I was diagnosed with a UTI a few days ago and have been taking SULFAMETHOXAZOLE - TMP DS TABLETS twice a day for the last three days and was wondering if I can be sexually active with my husband or if I should wait, I am also wondering if I can have a few beers tomorrow at our Christmas Eve party or if alcohol will do anythying to the medication.

You should avoid sexual contact during Urinary tract infection, otherwise ur partner will have high chances of acquiring the the infection u have. Once ur full course of antibiotic is complete and repeat urine routine and culture confirm cure from infection, u can have sexual contact.
Regarding alcohol, u can have it. It will not affect u.
