Is It Safe For The Baby To Give A Toddler Formula Instant Of Infant Formula?

hi.. i have a 4 1/2 months old grandchild and my daughter is giving her a Baby s Only toddler formula. I told her to get an infant formula since she is still young to take the toddller formula. do you think this is a good idea on giving the baby a toddler formula instead for infant formula. also, she likes the formuia but she throw up a lot after burping. may i know what causes this problem. thank you

Welcome to HCM,

Breast milk can't replace any milk, because it will have all the nutrients required for the baby in right proportion and quantity.
Exclusive breast feeding should be done atleast upto 6 months.
As your daughter is giving toddlers milk substitute to her baby aged four and a half month is not good for the infant. Because the baby can't digest some of the ingredients on the toddlers milk.

The baby should be given either lactogen 1 or Nan 1, which is suitable for the baby. I would suggest you to give only these products which is suitable for this age group baby and baby can digest this easily.
