Is It Safe For Me To Run After Insertion Of A Stent?

I recently had a stent put in and and am now doing well. Being a runner, i was off a little more than a month.I started back running last week, but have had a sciatic nerve issue arise. I ve never had that before. I m anxious too get back running. Is stretching my best option to make this pain go away?

Hello,

Yes indeed, stretching, would be very useful in this case. On the other hand, I do not prefer running as it will make a big load on the heart and you may do fast walking instead.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
