Is It Recommendable For A Diabetic, Hypertensive To Take Clonotril?

hello doctor..I am from india and my mother had a severe down from sodium low and was hospitalized.before that we went to a neurologist and after i year when we went to see him he said to take clonotril0.5mg along with the other medicines for diabetes,bloodpressure and insulin of 15..she is hesistent to take this as she is not having trouble falling asleep ..doc said to take it for 10 days..is it recommendable..
