Is it possible to repair hearing impairment in ears?
My husband having problem his right ear since he woke up inthemoring sudden can not hear the sound and now he can't hear any voice and please informing he had surgery since 20years ago both ear i do not know type of surgery but kind of removed eardrum because he had lot infected since he was boy... now his age of 46 and health condition is very good no smoke person only problem is he has a hearing problem especially winter so it is possible to reperation for ears? should contact to ENT dr 1st because now he said very dizzy...
hello, thanks for your query, chronic ear problem since child hood , failed ear surgery, at age 42, with risk factors Bp, diabetes( may be) . going for resurgery is not advisable. because for normal hearing nerve function should be good, it's action slows down when age progresses. first do basic audiometry tests to know the action of nerve and hearing deficit. visit an ent surgeon for father evaluation and treatment.all the best. take care.
