Is It Possible To Get Pregnant Straight After An Abortion?

I had an abortion when I was 7 weeks pregnant. I went for my post-abortion check up with my family doctor and had to do a urine sample. They dipped a pregnancy stick into the urine and for about a minute it was saying negative , when I left they called me back telling me that when I had left the test had a faint positive . I m very confused as to why it s still coming back positive even though I had the procedure done.

Woman starts producing her eggs again about 5 weeks after abortion. So after 7 weeks pregnancy is possible.
I am more concerned about the week delayed positive pregnancy test on the urine. This suggests that the pregnancy could be in the tube instead of uterus (Ectopic Pregnancy). This is a very serious condition. As the baby starts growing, the tube ruptures causing severe abdominal pain with bleeding. The vaginal bleeding is much less but the bleeding occurring inside the abdomen is alarming, requires immediate intervention with blood supply.
This condition can be diagnosed by :
1. Puncturing the back wall of vagina
2. Laparoscopy
Ultrasonography may miss the early ectopic pregnancy.
So please do not waste time and get investigated and treated properly.
