Hello,
Abortion is not possible at this stage of the pregnancy. Also, if the delivery is properly planned in a well equipped medical center, the baby can be managed well and surgery done soon after delivery if the heart muscle is of sufficient strength. Though, it is unfortunate that this is a rare defect, treatment is still available. So, please ask her not to lose hope. If needed, delivery may be planned earlier in order to manage the baby, once maturity has been reached. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
