.Is it possible? Yes. I had a cousin that died of a heart attack at age 13. Though he had a heart condition. If it really concerns you see a doctor and have him do a test when your heart rate is high. He'll have you do jumping jacks or something to get the rate up. Chances are it's probably normal

Probably normal. Everyone's heart get's fast after running and working out. Sometimes mine gets fast but it's normal.

I was told 40 years ago that I had a heart event by my cardiologist but he very much stated that I did not have a heart attack and gave me clearance for an operation on my knee two weeks after that. Recently my cardiologist here in Florida said that I had a old heart attack and I should now take statins. I have read two books on statins and due to theoir side effects am reluctant to take them. I have normal clorestral levels , am 81 years old. in good health and exercise an hour daily. What other heart events are there besides a heart attack??????

Hi...I m 15 years old but this is not about me I have a friend who is also 15 and well he just told me and my other friends that he has had a few (more than 1) heart attacks till now. the situations he has described were those when he was under some great stress(like him breaking up with his girlfriend). He has been to the doctor and he has told him that he might die if he has two-three more attacks. But the problem is that this friend of mine is a huge attention seeker and i fear he just might be doing this to get the sympathy of others. So my question is can a teenager have heart attacks like this due to panic or is he just making this story up?

I am a 36 years old from India who recently was detected to have acute coronary syndrome with troponin T up to 0.98 ng and underwent PTCA and drug eluting stent placement to the left circumflex artery which was found to have 100% stenosis in the angiogram(single vessel disease in the LCx). Now that after 35 days the PTCA, I am highly worried about getting a second heart attack, or myocardial infarction, or even sudden death. My doctor said there is nothing to worry since I have adequate LV function, but I want to know whether it will be possible for me to live without the fear of having a second heart attack at least for the next few years? Everywhere in the net, the American Heart Associationsâ?? website says that 24% of men will die within one year after the heart attack and the WWW.WWWW.WW website says that acute coronary syndrome carries a risk of recurring within 2 months.? Please help me
