Is It Okay To Take Methadone After Taking Suboxon?

I have been on methadone for a year now .I couldn't find them to fill at any pharmacy so I took a suboxon it made me feel worse .I last took a suboxon last night .today I got my methadone .is it ok to take the methadone today?or will it cause me to withdrawal even more?please let me know cause I'm sick!

hello user. thanx for contacting HCM for your health related query. I understand your concern, If you are on methadone for a year - your body should have developed a steady level of this drug and thus even if you miss it by a day or so - you will generally not face any serious withdrawal symptoms , so do not take buprenorphine or other opioids in between - just take some painkillers like ibuprofen if needed - nevertheless now , as you have got your methadone back - restart it and as the receptors will be filled again , any suboxone withdrawal is unlikely . hope it helps , take care
