Is it okay take 60 vyvanse and 20mg pantoprazol together ?

i been recently preiscribed to vyvase 60mg but i have been taking pantoprazol and omeprezol for the past year for my gastritis but if i dont take the pantoprazol or omeprezol i have really bad acid and heart palpitations so i dont know if its safe, because the vyvanse takes my apatite away and if i dont eat anything i also get alot of acid reflux ..?

Hi Trent,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum
Only your doctor who prescribe Vyvanse can decide whether to stop the medication or to switch over to an alternate. Please do not take your own decision. Acid reflux can be controlled by taking small frequent meals and also avoiding spicy/oily food. Refrain from smoking and alcohol if any.

ive been taking 60mg vyvanse everyday for almost 4 months now and it worked awesome for the first 3 weeks. But now I can feel it barely kick it in the morning and the productive calm feeling only lasts for maybe an hour and a half.. I want to try and take two 60mg before I go to school today. My tolerance is very high for this now. Would I be okay if I did so?

Hi I have been diagnosed with ADD and I am a female in my mid forties. I always knew something was wrong but I now have a name to my symptoms. Problem is I tried almost all medications for it and the only two I haven t tried are Concerta and Adderall. I am currently on Vyvanse 60 mg in am and 30 mg at 4pm. I noticed large amount of swelling in my extremeties. Mostly ankles , but definitely in fingers too. My heart rate is good and my blood pressure is good. No known cardiac issues and have a physical every year. Should this be a concern? It is the one medication that has really helped me focus and organize my life. Please let me know what this could be. My diet is free from salt as I eat very healthy. I drink alot of water. I am on HCTZ even for chronic kidney stones with multiple surgeries. I am on 25 mg QD. No other medications other than Fish Oil and vitamin B complex tabs. This seems to be the only side effect. I read most people have numbness and tingling and that is not the case. No bruising or anything else that I have noticed. Appetite is decreased on med but when it wears off, it comes back.

I take vyvanse 40 mg in the morning prescribed to me by my physician for school. I forget to take it some days and don t always like the wearing off effect and sometimes can t sleep at night. I am also on 10mg Prozac before bedtime and I am also prescribed Ativan for my anxiety when necessary. I took my vyvanse this morning and want to go to bed soon now and am wondering if I can take one of my 1mg dissolvable under my tongue Ativan before bed. My doctor seemed to think it s fine but I just want a second opinion as I am a little nervous about mixing too many medications. I am 21 yr old female

I have reflux. Have had it for many years, but recently I had the flu (Jan. 14th) I got over the flu except I couldn t get rid of coughing and thick mucous. X-rays revealed clear lungs. Gastroenterologist did endoscopy a couple of days ago and said esophagus was normal. However, I still have bad relux, terrible burning stomach, esophagus, Larnyx, even up into my throat and mouth. Keep that nasty soured mucous hanging at the back of my throat. Sometimes I have sharp and or consistent pains in between the breast bone and sometimes in the mid part of my stomach. Can the gallbladder cause these symptoms? Doctors have told me for years that they think I may have gallbladder disease without stones. The gasteroenterologist tells me I just have a sensitive esophagus. What do you think?

I suffer from acidity very often. I have done a USG of total abdomen and everything is fine, however, my endoscopy dated March 2006 detected esophagitis and GE lax. The doc has told me that It s incurable and I have it from birth. However, I do not have much reflux problem. I just have acidity problems where I get burning sensation in my esophagus.

My father, who is 79 yrs old and has a quite healthy life, has recently developed some difficulties in swallowing food for around 5-6 months. We had consulted Doctor in a well known Hospital in Delhi and we got endoscopy done which showed a thickening of esophagus wall and the Doctor advised endoscopic biopsy under anesthesia, which could not be completed by the concerned department as the biopsy was not possible from that angle. Now the Doctor had given an option of PET scanning or DL endoscopy and BPOPSY(GA). Meanwhile he prescribed Romilast, which did helped my father while eating food. However, we are not longer sure whether we should go ahead with it, as so far it has been an expensive wild goose chase without any conclusive outcome. We took a second opinion from Lok Nayak Hospital, where a Barium swallow test was done and the report says (R) pyriform sinus(l) lat. aspect of esophagus likely due to damage The Doctor advised that there is nothing to be worried about and it was an age related problem where the esophagus loses its flexibility and becomes stiff and we can continue with the Romilast tabs. I am confused as to what is to be done and Dad is also worried with anxiety as we recently lost my mother with nasopharyingeal carcinoma after a seven year battle with the disease and the sufferings of my mom is still quite fresh in our minds. However, he does not want any treatment, if it turns out to be cancer. Please advise as to which course of action will be better
