Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have undergone surgery of TURP 5 weeks ago for enlarged prostate and now have leakage of urine (Incontinence).

It is likely to be due to thermal injury to the sphincter Urethra a muscle that controls the urination .

Normally this gets cured within month but may take longer time in some patients.

Please consult Urologist who has performed surgery for evaluation.

Taking drugs like Oxybutinine and doing pelvic perineal exercises will help to strengthen the sphincter urethra. to achieve control over urination.
