Is It Normal To Have Tingling And Numbness Throughout My Body After A Rabies Shot?

I had a my 4th rabies post exposure shot today. I've been having tingling and numbness thoughout my body. My eyes also hurt. My daughters had the same shots and their eyes have been painful and itchy. Is this common? Could these be long-term side effects that will not go away?

It is quite normal to have tingling and numbness, especially in the arm on which you have received your rabies shot. This is temporary and will go away in 1-3 days.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The symptoms you are facing are not the usual symptoms , the are the allergic manifestations of the vaccination.
I advise you to consult your doctor, for diagnosis, and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms citrizine, cifixime, paracetamol, and antibiotic eye drops.
The 5th shot vaccine whether to take or not depends upon the severity of the allergy, any how it is to be taken after long time you can have it with precautionary measures on hand.
