Is It Normal To Have Spleen Removed While Suffering From NK-cell Lymphoma?

Hi, my wife has been diagnosed with NK-cell Lymphoma on August 3rd. She also just had her spleen removed as it was massively enlarged. I'm trying to find a good lymphoma specialist who has dealt with such cases before and can direct me to a good cancer research center.

Hello,

Yes, sometimes in cases of huge splenomegaly with lymphoma, spleen needs to be removed. Nothing to worry.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
