Is It Normal To Have Severe Fatigue With Lightheadedness Due To GERD?

Hi, my name is Courtney.
I went to the doctor earlier this month, two different ones and they both think I have GERD. I got some prescription medicine that has seemed to help to some extent. I had severe heartburn and that has gone away thanks to the medicine but every once in a while I will deal with food coming up my esophagus.
I have severe fatigue and I can't be on my feet for too long or I start getting light headed. Is that normal for GERD? I do suffer from anxiety so I've wondered if fatigue came with the anxiety too.

My pain mostly stays in my lower esophagus, stomach, rib, waist and abdomen. Sometimes it's a burning feeling and others it's a sharp pain like being stabbed. Even if it's touched, it hurts.

I taste blood in my mouth constantly whether I'm lots of pain or not. Though I have yet to find blood in my saliva. I even get a weird sensation with my nose that makes it feel like there's lots of water in it but when I blow my nose, there's nothing there, just mucus.

Earlier this week I did go to get my blood tested for any bacteria in my stomach but haven't heard anything yet.

Are these all symptoms of GERD or is there more going on?

Thank you for your time in reading this.

It is good to see that your medication is working. With medication, you have to be carefull about timing of food intake. You should take food at regular intervals and not remain without food for a long time. You should avoid spicy food and refrain from taking tea. You should go in for a lifestyle change and include exercising on a daily basis to have a stress free life.
