Is It Normal To Have Pain With A Small Cyst In Nipple Area?
My wife is having a pain in her right nipple for last couple of months. During clinical examination, Doctor has mentioned nipple slightly tender and not inflamed.
She has been advised mamography of both breasts by the gynaecologist. Mamography has been done and it is reported that a small cyst of 2x2 mm is present in right nipple. The Doctor has prescribed now Mecgla (1 tab daily for 10 days).
Yes, the symptom of pain is normal. The cyst found in your wifes breast could be brought about due to various reasons. Your doctor has prescribed a combination of vitamins to help battle this cyst. If this does not work then surgical removal may be required.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
