Is It Normal To Have Long Periods After Perimenopause?
Hi I am 47 years old last year I had 2 periods one last Jan and one in Sep very light. This year I had a period in Jan and Feb then 3 weeks ago I started bleeding some days are light and some days are very heavy. Dr said last year I was premenopausal but is it normal to bleed this long? I am fed up and tired.
Your doctor has rightly diagnosed you, once a woman enters in her perimenopausal stage she faces these symptoms, there is very much irregularity in periods during this stage. It will settle down once you enter the menopausal stage.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
