Is It Normal To Have Itching Sensation And Stabbing Pain While Having Ovarian Cyst And Endometriosis?
I have an ovarian cyst on my left ovary and endometriosis. Lately I have been feeling an itching sensation across my lower abdomen with sharp stabbing pains. The pains are so bad that they take my breath away and I double over in pain. Is this normal?
Itching is not known to be a symptom of endometriosis. The stabbing pain could be a result of scar tissue from inflammation that might be related to endometriosis, but it is not typical. usually endometriosis pain is described as a crampy pain and not a sharp stabbing pain. However, that doesn't mean it is impossible to feel sharp. If this itching and stabbing pain continues, you might want to see your doctor and find out if something else might be involved. I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any more questions.
