Is It Normal To Have Fever And Cold After Angioplasty?

hi my brother age 40 years had angioplasty 3 bays back he was well after procidure and ahd been discharged from hospital yesterday but today he is feeling cold and headache,he suffered from fever but with medicines it was gone my question is is this normal after angioplasty anf what precautions he should take after

hi,
Fever and cold may develop due to allergy to the contrast material given during angioplasty, but is very rare. it could also be due to a simple viral infection. any minor complaint should be accounted for, in this period and hence i suggest you to consult your cardiologist for these complaints and make sure you get treated if it is an infection.
Meanwhile, take some cold medicine and rest.
