Hello there and welcome,

I've gone through your query and let me tell you firstly that these symptoms are likely as what you've experienced is due to traumatic head injury.

I appreciate your concern and patience since its been already 5 days.

you've mentioned the problems which can be there for a while. Generally in mild injury, the pain and headache and bump takes around 7-10 days to resolve .

But seems like you've hit yourself pretty badly so it may persist even longer . No need to panic as its just a consequence of the bad trauma and be patient for a while longer as You will get better eventually.

Meanwhile start applying some Ice-pack/ a bag of frozen peas over the area. You can take Tab. PARACETAMOL 650Mg Three times a day for 2-3 days after food and the pain'll get better.

You might experience dizziness as we'll as tired feeling and headaches for a few more days just don't worry. Stay rested at home and avoid doing any strenuous activities(handling heavy machinery/outdoor sports/driving etc.).

Keep yourself under observation and if you feel like even after a few days , the symptoms aren't resolving/ the size of the bumps are kept increasing/ experiencing any warning sign of head injury(sudden severe vomiting/fits/weakness of an any part of the body/blurring of vision/loss of consciousness etc.) then you need to check into your nearest ER at the earliest and get a CT-Head done.

Hope this'll help you and thanks again for contacting HCM
