Is It Normal To Have Brown Colored Discharge During Early Pregnancy?

Hi. i started havimg a brown colored discharge at what i thought to be 11 weeks. i got freaked out and went to the ER. they did an examination amd the physician said he seen no bleeding... then they sent me for an ultrasound. the sonogrpher said she seen a gestational sac but no fetal pole. I was sent back to the physician and he told me that things didnt look good... i cried and got really upset. they told me that the sac looked only to be about five weeks so im either way off on my dates or its a threatened miscarriage and just sent me home. i dont know what to think. im not crampy or uncomfortable ... There is still brown discharge. i took my first positive preg test on october 8th. they also tested hcg levels and said it was 6000. I go back tomorrow to test levels again and im nervous. i dont know wetjer the physician was wrong in telling me this. is this normal??

this kind of discharge may occur in pregnancy

however, complete rest is advised and after the episode is over a USG is required to see the status of the fetus

take care and all the best!
