Hi,

Actually the blood comes from uterus and not urine. Many women gets some bleeding and spotting off time after insertion of IUD. This is usually mild and disappears in few weeks. If not getting down, or the amount significant with major clots, kindly get back to your doctor, as very occasionally IUD may need to be removed or may need hormonal therapy for few days. Miscarriage is unlikely, as IUD is in place and you already had a miscarriage last month.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK, Pediatrician
