Is It Normal To Have Blisters And Puss On Mons Pubis After Using Hair Removal Cream And How To Treat This?
hi, i used hair removal cream on my vagina and i immediately noticed a burning sensation and was really sore i think i left it on too long although i have used this method before. A cpl of days later i have noticed cuts and blisters and puss, i was concerned because it looks like herpes but I have never had anything like this before and it only occurred after the cuts and burning from the hair removal cream. I m embarrassed to go to the doctors or gum clinic because i know i shouldn t of used the hair removal cream. what should i look out for that will help me to identify what is happening? Its not all over its concentrated to the area that originally burned when i used the cream
Hi Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day
Hair removal cream( Chemical depilation) is not advisable and recommended for use on hairs over genitalia. Blisters and hair folliculitis are quite common after applying cream. Local antibiotic and steroid ointment application will be helpful.
