Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

All your findings in the description are a part of the normal physiological process. The hematoma and bruise that has formed at the site of injury will track down into the leg naturally due to the effect of gravity along the fascial planes of the leg. So, as a result of this, you could see discolouration of the skin down in the leg where you didn't sustained any injury.

This will resolve spontaneously within 2-3 weeks and no further intervention might be needed.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
