Is It Normal To Feel Different Sized Lump In Groin Before Period?

Hi I am 48 and just found a lot of different sized lumps that I can feel in my groin area. My period is due and I am wondering if this is a normal occurrence prior to the period. Also, I have been doing some fairly high intensity abdoman work and have noticed a prominent vein on either side of my lower ab. Do you think the lumps mean I have strained something. Hoping that once my period gets into full swing, lumps will subside and it is just hormonal, or should I be off to the doctor first thing tomorrow?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may have some enlarged inguinal lymphnodes in your groin area. It has no relation with your menstrual period. You should go for examination. If needed go for fine needle aspiration cytology or biopsy of that lump. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you a very good health.
