Is it normal to feel childs heart beat through her chest ?
Is it normal to feel my childs heart beat through her chest When i place my hand over my childs chest it feels as if though it is beating hard. She is four years old and i check her bpm and it ranges from 100 - 120. It scares me that i can feel it when i place my hand on her chest.when shes sleeping its not so hard. Is this something to be concerned about?
hi, Roxanne, thanks for query.Your child is absolutely normal. Not your child if you put your hand to your partner chest 2-3 fingers away from nipple and down you can feel his heart beat also. The heart rate is again normal. The sign of problem is she become breathless after playing, her lips or palms truing blue on exertion etc.Do not worry she is fine bye.

Is it a normal thing to feel your heart beating while resting? the thing is that I can feel my heart beat when I m not doing any kind of physical activity, like right now I can feel it beating against my chest, and it gets worst if I go running or something, it beats really fast, so fast that if I sit still my body shakes to the rhythm of it.... is that bad? I don t drink coffee, alcohol or smoke.

Hi, this may be a strange question, i am trying to understand what happened with a recent situation involving a family member, the person had no symptoms befor ethe incident, she started to fit, slight foaming at the mouth and long deep, slow breaths, 4 breaths before they stopped, i commenced cpr however this failed as the person died, basically im just trying to figure out what caused the fitting, as nobody at the hospital could tell me y and the post mortem came back as ischaemic heart disease due to her long standing history, but was there another factor that could have been overlooked?
