Hi,

In the first few months of taking Cilest birth control pills breakthrough bleeding, spotting & missed periods are likely to occur. However, it becomes normal after the body has adjusted with the medication. You can continue to take the pills as prescribed/instructed.

If bleeding is heavy & it persists you should contact your OBGYN. You may need to switch over a pill that suits you bette. Take food rich in calcium, iron & folic acid.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

Regards,
