Is It Normal To Bleed Under Birth Control Medication?
ive been taking cilest birth control for a couple of years now. im in the first week of my strip, but realised today that i missed wednesday and thursday. i took one this morning and another this evening but now i am bleeding. is this normal and what should i do?
In the first few months of taking Cilest birth control pills breakthrough bleeding, spotting & missed periods are likely to occur. However, it becomes normal after the body has adjusted with the medication. You can continue to take the pills as prescribed/instructed.
If bleeding is heavy & it persists you should contact your OBGYN. You may need to switch over a pill that suits you bette. Take food rich in calcium, iron & folic acid.
