Is It Normal To Be Less Focussed At School When On 5mg FocalinXR?
6 year old son takes focalinXR 5mg in the morning before school. (He began by taking focalin 2.5mg in morning and another 2.5mg after school for homework). I thought the 5 mg extended release would last him longer through the day? but he seems less focused at school and as if hes on nothing by the time he gets home. Is this normal?

I personally do not believe in this medicine for what it is being used, ADHD is not the exact pathological condition so that can be treated but this is more genetic in origin and this could change time to time so I am not favor this drug, here the symptoms that you have stated could be due to the drug it self, you have to discuss this with the his doctor hope this information helps you, have good day.
