Is It Normal That The Penis In Dark Brown After Circumcision?
My son just had a circumcision and his penis is wrapped. Just after the procedire his penis head was bright red but now it's dark red/maroon now. Is this normal? I'm worried the. A daves are too tight and restricting blood flow. Is this possible. Rather, is this likely?
Hello db and welcome to HCM. As an Urologist, let me advise you that, the dressing after circumcision is given as a compression dressing, to prevent bleeding. Normally, color changes will not be significant. If you feel it's very different from the post-operative color, you should visit the doctor. In some cases, the dressing may come off, soon in a few hours. A new dressing may not be needed then.
