Hello Doctor, My baby girl is almost 8.5 months old and I have been suggested by a lot of friends and relatives to vaccinate my child against the flu. Is it really required? If yes, then to what extent it can protect my child against the various flu infections? Please Help Doctor!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think it would be advisable to do the flu vaccine in an infant. It will protect him from being ill this season.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
