Is It Easy To Tear A Ventral Hernia Repair?

Is it easy to re tear your ventral hernia repair ? I had open surgical procedure done ten days ago and of course being a single mother of 3 im back to work 7 days later although i did still have constant pain and fatigue. the incision site looks great and felt flat and no more hernia until the other night i could feel a lump slightly and had more pain. today ten days later the lump is bigger and it doesnt feel good like it was healing rite the first week after surgery, it feels uncomfortable and i catch myself holding my breath when i move around now and the pain is still there just as much. I dont see my doctor until the 13th to check the insicion n maybe remove stitches but i feel i should go in asap
