Sir, My age is 58 years.. Due to cholesterol and other reason, I used to have chest pain veryoften. Then I was advised to go in for angio after getting tmt positive and I am on the following medication: 1.Ecospin AV 75-10 2. Dilzem 30mg 3.Nicoduce 5 mg. since 3 or 4 months. But nowadays i am getting more severe pain in my knees and below the knees on both legs. I find this situation since a month onwardsl. Pain is increasing day by day in such a way that I am unable to sit on the floor and walk properly, like a duck walk....Pl advice me in this regard.

Hello,
Welcome to Health Care Magic. I read carefully your query and I understand your concern.
Yes your chest pain very often is due to your cholesterol high level, the chest pain is caused by the atherosclerosis of the coronary artery, also your problem with your pain below the knee seem to be related with peripheral arteriosclerosis artery, but you should determine that if it is a vascular problem or neurological by magnetic resonance angiography and duplex ultrasonography.
Escorpin AV 75-10 is Asprin 75 mg that help to prevent clots with 10 mg Atorvastatn that help to reduce lipid blood level, both of them help to prevent atherosclerosis and the complications like heart attack.
Nicoduce 5 mg has a vasodilatation effect, help to dilate the artery, it prevent also the heart attack.
Diltiazem 30 mg has a vasodilatation effect and relive the chest pain and also the under knee pain.
All the medication are the right choice, they can relieve chest and under knee pain, but you can increase their dosage in consultation with your doctor if there isn’t shown a result and monitoring your symptoms and lipid blood profile, liver function blood tests during their take.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Kind regard,
Dr .Marsida JANKO
